Just this Friday, had the rear sitting in the air for over 24hrs. Lowered her down gently and was good to go.

I use a lift all the time to raise my car, when I'm doing maintenance on it.
There is no issues when raising it. Just ensure the support arms are placed under the rubber pads under the rocker panels.
The key is to lower the car slowly, and let the suspension settle. I usually lower it down a little, until the suspension starts to compress, then stop for a 10 seconds, then let it down some more, repeat until the car is resting nicely on its own. No muss no fuss. The synopsis is that your suspension thinks it's in the fully raised position when lifted. When letting the car down, the air trapped in the air struts and airsprings, needs to be relieved slowly as to not rupture their air blatters. So caution is advised.
I hope that this answers your question.
