I did answer your question, with your own answer. You just eliminate it and run a solid pulley.

Within a few weeks, we will have retrofitted a whipple 2.9 to a Jag Type R. They are still working on building the motor followed by the intake manifold which mates that monster to the Jags lower intake.

Once that is complete, it will be on to do the same for the E55. When it is done for the Jag, it will begin for the E55, simple as that. The question will be is, do you want a 2.9 or 3.4 Whipple. The 3.4 is strictly a drag blower as it is very lazy down low and only really starts to wake up at 20lbs>

So if you have a weekend warrior, and dont mind running race gas, then the 3.4 is the one for you. You will however want to think about going into the motor and sleeving it along with dropping in Mahle or Manley pistons.

With the 2.9, I think alot of guys will reap the benfits of been a street terror and be able to handle it's business at the track. However, for anyone that has not seen a 3.4 in person, it will blow your mind how massive and beefy this ***** is. Guarenteed, everytime you open your hood, the first thing people say is," Good God, that is a big blower."

We are now a Whipple dealer, so let the fun begin

Careful with all this "we" talk..... you'll wake up the moderators and end up with a TOU infraction.

The 3.4 whipple is where its at. I had one on my cobra and i will admit it is more of a race blower and slightly lazy down low but these motors are also bigger than a 4.6. If my memory is right the boost range is from like 12-30lbs and are extremely efficient not to mention i payed $4000 for my kit and throttle body. The other good part will be with a new manifold we can also put on larger custom fuel rails and eliminate the fueling problem also. I hope Brooke(Exotic-metal55) gets us some strong bottom ends together soon.
A built 5.7 with ported heads,3.4 whipple pushing 25+lbs of boost has 750RWHP written all over it.

No we're talking! But I think we are dreaming about sub $5k blowers for these cars lol. Looks like everybody is waiting on Brooke's project lol

Bottom end is simple, sleeve the block and put in low compression Mahle or Manley pistons, that is it.

Just a couple more weeks fella's and I will have pics of that monster 2.9 on top of a Jag type r motor with custom intake built

I don't think the ecu cares, last time I had it unplugged I don't recall the ecu giving me any issues.

Yes, at a slow pace as I am finishing my e85 conversion and then tracking the car to get my 10 sec slip.

We have a local company that is one of the leaders in development for the aftermarket GM sportscars that has already cut a intake to mate a whipple 2.9 to a similar platform as the w211 e55. I am not at liberty to release anymore information yet, but they said it would not be a problem at all.

BIP is also a whipple dealer, so it should not be a problem to get a donor 2.9 from them and have the intake cut. I would push to have this sold as a kit, and from what I have seen, it would come in WAYYYYYY under $8000..... That would be for the blower, custom intake, blower snout, upper pulley and hardware.

I just come from the mod haven cobra world, where everything and anything is available.

Like I said, I just want my 10 second slip, and then we will collaborate with BIP, Whipple and our local Domestic Performance Vendor to get the intake manifold cut. It is that simple, and I am not into raping and price gouging either. I HATE MB tax too, and will do all we can to eliminate it

One of my dreams is to have 2.9; 3.4 and maybe even 4.0 Whippled E55's cruising the streets late at night, and been able to have the same respect, and iconic presence as twin screw terminators, poopra's, skyline etc

How much would that approximately cost? Is it almost ready? Balanced with the crank pulley?

this is good stuff nice to these kind of things happening to a car that has been made a big deal of until others stepped up. in the end its just a motor with a blower on it.

I was trying to figure out how it would go on our motors as well and not sure what exactly is going on here. Maybe just showing they make custom kits using whipples?

Also super stoked to here you guys are gonna do what you can to rid us of our crazy over priced parts, as im one of the lower income guys who can now afford e55's.
