E55 vs Neon SRT-4
Just curious how much power one would have to put down to pull on my stock '04 from a roll?
All opinions welcomed.

Stock turbo SRT-4s can yield over 300whp with bolt ons. I was trapping 107 with 244whp.
A friend of mine has a Mopar stage 3 Turbo'ed car, and he is running 11.50's@122+. He put down 340whp(mustang) on E85.
Stage 3s are no slouch, I never had mine at the track, but even on pump, I do believe it would walk my CLK55.
But to answer your question, I would say if it is pushing over 300whp, it has a chance to walk you. Stock, they put down about 220whp.
Do you know what turbo it has?

LMAO. I played with one of those a couple of days ago. He started it and got smoked. He was so mad, that he drove by and gave me the bird. Now he knows what AMG stands for.lol

The thing about doing a roll is it is 50/50 on if they know to break boost their car or not when running a bigger sized turbo on the small engines so the slight lag will give an advantage for the E55 to shoot out and then he would need to have a good amount of power to be able to catch back up and pass.

Apparently not dyno tuned and he's estimating 315whp(I'm going to guess he's BSing and it's going to have a pretty larger turbo. I want to find out for $50. lol
Yep, I was thinking that. Surely he won't want to go from a stop. It's going to be in the 40s out...lol. I shouldn't have a problem if he can't hook, but I really hope he does so it will be worthwhile.

ask him what turbo he is running then you can pretty much figure out what kit he's running and determine how much to bet if any at all because quite a few of those SRT neons run under 12 sec 1/4's ... seems like the 50 trim on the srt's is pretty stout.... I raced one when i was still stage 3 in my audi and he was pretty much one car length behind me the whole time... only think that allowed me to really to jump ahead was his lag on big turbo

no matter what stage these guys claim out here, i've never seen one out of the 13's at our local track. i know they can be quicker than that so i suspect the ones i've seen may have been driver deficient...which doesn't surprise me since most of the srt4 guys i've tried to talk to at the track were total db's. i don't think there's an srt4 on the street that i'd ever worry about losing to.

I might know a tiny bit about this sorta thing,
So all you got to do is ask what speed roll he wants to go from, If he say's 60+ your in trouble If he say he dosent care, gives you the choice or says 30 is good then you should murder him.
I had a stock turbo SRT4 with all the bolt on mods and it ran low 12's but very traction limited

my friend had an AGP stage 4 putting down 400+whp but he could never get good traction. i think the best time he ran was mid 11's. i doubt that guy is running the same but these things can get up if serious like any other car with money into it.
