YESSS!!! Another member of the 11 second on street tires club!!!

Today I decided to go to the track and see what my car can do with some track prep ( they were having a competition so they actually used track bite this time ).

Last time I went I ran a 12.5@118mph with horrendous tire squeal but this time, with no changes to my car, I ran an 11.8@119mph with 1.8 60ft times.

Track conditions were 84*F, Humidity was 74% and the baro pressure was 29.83in. The track also has a 20ft elevation which is pretty darn good. The humidity and temps are what mostly kill me down here. According to the DA calculator, my car could run 11.6@120mph in better conditions.

I'm happy.

Hahaha....tell me about it. I was getting frustrated by all you guys doing 11's on street tires and me mustering up a stupid 12.5 on supposedly good tires.

Good work.. Ill be giving it my last effort Friday to crack into the 11s on street tires (stock), that's if and a big IF I can hook up..Then I'm just giving up, and going for the pulley and tune next year..

I would honestly love to try it....but I just can't justify spending $1K+ for some wheels and tires just to use them once or twice a year.

Nice GR-ER, next, prepare drag set up, this is also will be my next mod

Our cars love 30 deg C (86 deg F) and below specially if you have different intercooler (not the HE) other than the stock or Water/Meth spraying, did you use Water/Meht , water alone on your run?
