E55 idler pulley bearing?
Hey guys, my idler pulley is wobbling a bit and making a ton of noise. I was told that you can change the bearing in them instead of spending over 400 dollars on a new pulley... Anyone know where I can find a part number for this bearing or these bearings? Did a search... found nothing.
Thanks,
Will

One time my tensioner pulley was making tons of rattling noises and during its replacement, we found that my idler pulley was also shot. It almost fell apart in my hand. I ended up just getting the ASP idler pulley which is a much more solid build than stock, and it was really affordable at 125 shipped. Old post but good one:

Sorry just realized I forgot to post the link to the picture.. But it's the pulley that sit's to the left of the tensioner, and has both belts running on it (two pulleys on it)

Don't get me wrong, the ASP parts are sweet and I'll definitely go that route when my tensioner pulley bearing fails (mostly cuz they look cool and the cheesy factory pulley is visible when you open the hood).
