Damn supercharger pulley bolt won't come off.
Any way at all for me to lock the freaking supercharger and use my 3ft breaker bar on it?

Also, if you have a crappy extension (assuming you're using an extension; I did) it could be flexing, not allowing all of the impact to make it to the bolt.
I'm going to bypass the regulator on the compressor and fix some small leaks the compressor has and try again. If it doesn't work then I'll just take the tool back to where I bought it and order a big boy online and just wait it out.
At least I can drive the car without the SC....it just sucks.

I AM using a long extension....the radiator is kinda in the way so I can't use the impact wrench directly on the bolt. I'll try some new ideas tomorrow.
I sprayed a ton of penetrating oil tonight. We'll see what happens.
If you could get a tight fitting socket, no extensions or swivels, short hose and large fittings (inside diameter of the air chuck fitting), then hook it to a two stage compressor with 175 psi and viola, she will pop right off.
A 3/4 gun will require a ton more air than a 1/2 inch gun and may not perform any better on a small compressor.
Let us know how it goes.

Do you think if I add a decent amount of oil to the gun it'll make it stronger by sealing better the chambers? I added only a tiny amount of very thin oil...maybe I should pour in motor oil?
How about a swivel? I'll be a lot shorter and still offer clearance.
If you have a local shop with a professional air compressor, you might consider dropping by, have them loosen the bolt and tighten it back up to get you home. Once it has been broken loose, you can get it off with your current set up.
To answer your question, the oil does help but it won't be enough to make a difference. More oil will simply blow out.
Should I keep reheating the bolt? I've already done it about 3 times.
