Lightbulb My "Unknown Mods" dyno results

Video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wjwLKb_ez8

If you followed my other thread, you saw that I had an aftermarket crank pulley of unknown size. I got the car on a dyno today to see if it had a tune to go along with it. It was a Dyno Dynamics heartbreaker dyno and the car put out 400rwhp & 450rwtq. The tech said they typically show about 12% less hp than "friendlier" dynos. It's running reeeeaaaaallllly rich up top, which leads me to think that it does not have a tune. Looks like I can get some decent gains with just a tune, also. I'll get one after I get my MBH long tubes installed.

Anyhow, here are the results of the last 2 runs. 425lb/ft @ 2400rpm is awesome. I wish the run would have started lower because I want to see how long it's over 400lb/ft. I think these cars make more torque at idle than most Hondas at max tq, lol:

Let me know what you think.

Also, that was my first ever youtube video!

Seems pretty good to me. The A/F ratio isn't bad at all, it could be better, but it isn't all that bad....it only goes to the rich side near redline which is okay. Especially if your intake temps were high on that run ( which I could only guess they were since you probably can't log the car yet since you just got it ).

That is a damn good graph homey. Your HP curve above 5k rpms keeps climbing and does not drop off at all. Lines are nice and smooth too, you have a healthy beast. Just for reference, I made 358rwhp ob a dynamics bone stock.

Why do you think that? I did 4 runs in about 20 minutes with runs 3 &4 being the strongest.

But if it is bad, guess who has an aftermarket warranty!?

I doubt it has a dead pump, then again...they seem to die just by staring at them. Regardless, I think they are too cheap for the aftermarket warranty to pay for. They only cost about $130 and you can install it yourself really.

If they used 4th gear then I wouldnt worry about it.I thought that was your first pull and figured the pump might be going.

Very nice! It seems like you did really well finding this one. You bought it sight unseen? I didn't have the ***** to do that and drove all around finding mine. But, I'm pretty picky about the interior being virgin and not smoked in.

Congrats!

Leads me to also wonder in the history of man if any car has not been running 'really rich' after a dyno or having 'issues' which if fixed could gain another 20whp.
