Children 16-19 are high risk drivers "just the facts".

Yep...but having a 450hp car doesn't necesarily make it worse...especially if the car is a safer car than the 100hp 1980 VW jetta.

When I was young, I would do FAR dumber things in a low powered car than I would in a high powered car just because I actually respected the high powered car.

I raced a Viper to that speed not so long ago, and I'll be honest....afterwards I had to stop and get out of the car for a minute. The car never felt upset, but I won't be doing that again anytime soon.

Jerry (Eurocharged) tossed me the keys to his heavily worked E60 M5, at the Texas Mile in October. Ran it to 166mph with a pretty gusty wind at the big end. THAT, was a bit more unnerving.

Even if I had the room, and could do it legally, I have no desire to test out 5 miles of WOT in the 600. I'd do it in a purpose built car in a heartbeat though.
LOL, I figured, and don't blame you (with those 170 blasts, you're already way braver than I ).

It'd take brass ***** and a non-medicated psychological condition to figure 5 miles of WOT in a modded V12TT was a good idea.

Exactly, you can state that they are high risk drivers as a "fact". But I'd say it's a safe bet that the overwhelming majority of the drivers in that age group aren't driving $50k plus vehicles with 400+ hp vehicles. They are driving, the Civics, Corollas, Scions, of the world. It's all up to the individual and one 16 year old isn't the same as another. Do you guys think there aren't 30 and 40 year olds that drive like idiots on the street? Hell some of them are posting on this board.
