ECU Tuning Group | Mercedes Benz E55 AMG ECU Upgrade
Through reprogramming ONLY the ECU, we were able to increase power for the Mercedes Benz E55 by at least 27-30hp & 22 lbs tq (over stock) to the wheels. Like every other vehicle we have reprogrammed, no physical alterations were made ie. intake, exhaust, headers, etc. Once the vehicle is reprogrammed, exhaust is considerably deeper and louder in 2nd and 3rd gear, power is widely available throughout the rpm band, hesitation and flat spots are smoothed out, and speed limiter is removed. Typically, more power can be achieved by replacing the cats with high flow 200 cell race cats and replacing the stock intercooler pump with a Johnson CM-30.
Gains Achieved:
ECU 91oc - 27-30hp & 22lbs tq
ECU/TCU 91oc - 35hp & 75lbs tq
ECU/TCU Pulley 91oc - 60-65hp & 100lbs tq

The car is now very responsive and it pulls like crazy. Much more enjoyable to drive. I like the growl it makes coming out of city turns. It sounds like it just wants to take off. On the freeway going about 80mph I noticed that I can punch it and spin the tires enough to light the ESP warning light on the dash which it did not do when it was stock.
I drive my car hard everyday and have had no problems. I know some people have gotten used to replacing belts because some aftermarket pulleys destroy them. I haven't had any issues with ETG's pulley.
Anyone in the Bay Area with an E55 or CLS55 thinking about getting a tune are welcome to meet up and sit in my car for a ride.
There is even a shop owner here in the SF Bay Area who had a tuned SL55 by another company. He drove my car and was really surprised with the tune. He now offers ETG exclusively to their customers.

They do definitely want "higher end" customers.
You're right. HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!! Forum guys that love talking crap through their computers!!!! Whoo-Hoo.
I'm just telling my experience. I have a friend with a different tune on his e55 and he can spin the wheels at 80 also.
Some of you just love to hate.
We understand that you are standing behind your tuner, but don't take it to the heart.
With what has been recently posted, I’m trying to understand what went wrong with singh autosport other than they are pompous and whatever.
Tbal, do you do marketing for this company? You’ve been talking about them for quite a while. Is this reverse psychology marketing supposed to be effective?
Let me know, I am actually quite curious. Call me a fool, but isn't your middle name "Singh"? Just like Singh Autosport? You claim to be bashing them but to the untrained eye you are actually hyping them. I’ve seen this story on numerous forums. You call singh autosport about getting your car tuned, you’ve seen their website they charge $645 for 27hp on a BMW 645i and you mention another company that offers 10hp for $400. Singh refuses to budge, therefore you feel that you weren’t treated right because they wouldn’t drop their price. In return you slate this company on different forums because…you didn’t get your way. I don’t understand
For me as an individual, if I don’t like a company, I wouldn’t keep bringing them up. Looking at your original post on the BMW forum, time has gone by and you’re still bitter. From what I see in your sig, you drive a dressed up “E63”
. What I’m confused about is, when you went to buy your E63 and realized you only had E55 money did you egg the dealership? You claim to be the victim but in reality you’re just plain bitter.
