I'll definitely do this when I attempt this project, but it would be nice to know how much of an improvement there is; to know if it's worth it or not.
Agree 100%. I would like to see ZKW and the OEM (frosty) lens side by side.
By that I mean on the bench, so whoever dose this next please take a pic.
My car came with halogen and I updated to BiXenon (OE) but mine seem to work quite well. I have been wondering why so many people complain about their factory BiXenon low beams. Could this be a quality control issue from Hella?

Coming from Halogen to bi-xenon will definitely look better but if your bought the car with bi-xenon and you driving next an audi/bmw....you will see that their lighting is much better...

If you go to theretrofitsource site, they have comparison. I will be doing mine once I swap out. I will leave 1 factory and 1 aftermarket on both sides.

Let me tell you. it was a pain in the rear to put that clear lens into the projector with the active steering bixenon. It really took some time figuring how to do it without breaking anything.

As I stated my car came with the Halogens and I did up grade to the BiXenon. My point is that my lights did not come from the lot that was shipped to MB, mine were after market OE and are on par with Acura BMW Audi RR.
SO, what I want to see is the lens side by side, I want to see this "Frost"
Can this Frost be seen from the outside? Is this frost present when the Lens is new or is it caused by UV over time. I am not talking about the Outer plastic lens, but the glass lens in the projector.

The Pics on the web are less than compelling. I want to see the Lens.
