My car is stock height and my rear tires are worn out but on 1 side the inside is down to the cord. The other side is worn more on the inside but not to the cord yet. Is this normal wear for these cars?

Same problem here. IF you drive in sport-2 then it's my understanding that this causes negative camber so great that it eats up the inside of the tires. I'm told my my indy the dealer has a bolt kit that will help with this problem but perhaps not solve it. My plan is to look into it this week.Originally Posted by TheOtherDodge

It was suggested to me by a tire dealer that it would be a good idea to swap the tires left to right at about 5-10k miles (depending on the softness of the tires), but not just swapping the wheels if the tires are directional. This of course will require the tires shop to break down and remount the tires on the opposite wheel. This should help even out the wear some.
Hope this helps. I'm going with the BFG g-force T/A KDW2's this time. Chawkins swears by them.

What does it look like? Mine looked like this.

My wear is more to the inner 1/4 of the tire but I don't have the bolt kit to help correct the negative camber and drive in Sport II. This all will change though because I'm tossing two otherwise good Michelins..Originally Posted by RedBullJnky

Will have some fun over the next few days though before the new ones arrive.

Put about 3 or 4 more pounds of air in the rears and the inside wear will be drastically reduced(same with the fronts). I run my fronts at 40 psi cold and the rears at 36 psi cold, rotate them about halfway through their life(dismount, flip, remount, and put on the other side) and I have "normal" tire wear.

Awesome. Thanks Izzy. That confirms what the tire place said plus the 4 pri boost.Originally Posted by izzyz28

Mine is not nearly that bad as you can see and the tire is almost worn out. I will try increasing the pressure and dismount and rotate like suggested.

No doubt RedBull
TheOtherDodge, yeah you are certainly ready for a set of rear tires. Scary
Y'all drive in normal, sport I or Sport II?

At the risk of sounding stupid, what is sport 1 and 2? I have mine in sport mode but didn't know about 1 or 2. Also, I can't see how that would affect the camber because the ride height is not changed...?

If you look at the button with a shock absorber on it between the gear shifter and center console, that is what controls the suspension setting from normal, sport I and sport II. It changes the ride height and I'm told the camber as well. Sport II adds the most negative camber and wears out the inside of the tires.Originally Posted by TheOtherDodge

Thanks Shardul for that link. Good stuff there!
jddumas thanks for the explanation. I believe I run mine on sport I because I don't change it.

From the pix looks like very aggressive use in the inner. How long ago you did a proper alignment ? From my understanding every 10k to 15k miles or 2 years need to align.

Learn something every day
....All this time I thought the Normal, Sport 1, and Sport 2 settings just changed the ride (effective spring rates and rebound) and had no idea that it actually lowered the vehicle 15mm....
