Normal gas mileage??
Im seeing 6.0mpg after strt up and just creeping through my neighborhood. The best i've seen on the road is 12mpg. I live in an area where the speed limit is 50 everywhere with lights every .5-1 mile or so.
The car is modded. 180 pulley, bigger throttle body, headers, no cats, ect.
I havent checked it while cruising for a while on the freeway... so i don't know what its getting there.
Also.. over the last few months.. my long term fuel trims are seeing 9 bank one and 5 bank two.
I watch the short terms.. and they are pretty dead even in real time. When i first got the car 6 months ago.. the long terms were about 4 for each side.
Thought i would post here to get input before i start digging.
thoughts??

That sounds perfectly normal to me. THE LTFT's are probably creeping up because of the change in temperature as we transition to Winter, or because of tuning/hardware changes you've made since you got the car.
The 6 mpg on startup and through the neighborhood means absolutely nothing(it'll always suck horribly), and 12 mpg sounds pretty good for the type of driving you are doing. For reference, I see 11 to 13 mpg during my commute in similar conditions, 19 - 23 mpg on the highway depending on speed/wind/temperature, and over the last 26,000 miles I have averaged 15.4 mpg overall.

You're in a G55 so you'll get less mpg then an E55. I get 6 mpg from startup to driving on alleys and parking lots which is usually around 10mph tops. My commute to the local car wash is 6 miles round trip with 50mph speed limits and lights every 1/2 mile. Without traffic, that trip nets me 12.5 - 13mpg

I got almost 19mpg on a recent cross-country trip. Average speed was about 72mph and it was extremely cold for part of it, getting as low as 13 degrees F. 2300 miles over 3.5 days.

The instrument cluster should give you 2 calculations. Mine shows MPG since last odometer reset, and MPH since last service. I see 16 -18 when making long trips and less than 10 around town. Cluster shows 13.9 since last reset (8500 miles)

I for one find the readings quite useless because if the car sits idling, MPG takes a dive and each time you manually do a reset while driving, it starts up from 15.6 I think.

I logged about 400 miles yesterday...... NH -> NJ -> NH for a customer visit.
Here's a shot of the gauge cluster moments before I got home:
I stopped for fuel on the way home and reset my cluster which is why it doesn't show the full trip... it was about 4.5 hours of driving each direction but my MPG was pretty much just like this the whole way down. My average speed was impressively high too.... [/wink wink]
Unfortunately, as you can see I finally rolled-over into the 30,000 mile club.... man, this car really starting to rack up the miles!

07 E63. 07 STi limited #606/800
I'm going from AZ to northern California. Let's see how much different the E63 is compared to the e55 on steady cruises with 75mph speed limits.
My guess is it should be better, like 3-4 mpg better and around 440 mp/tank
