What radar detector do yo use?

Escort in previous cars. Current came with k 40. Not as good in my opinion but hidden well. Although jamming is illegal in Illinois I'm thinking of trying.

1992 NSX, 2003 Escalade, 2003 E55
I have a K-40 built into my NSX. But it's turned off and replaced by the Latest and Greatest---V1 !!!!! The only ticket I ever got in the X was when I left my V1 in the Beast (E55), and trekked out unprotected. 
V1 is by far best detector hands down!!

Does anyone have a built in scanner in their dashboards?? I bought my car used, and noticed there is a knob to control a police detector. But I was wondering if anyone else has this, or maybe its just aftermarket?
