It looked like the Veyron got a really good jump on the GTR. After that initial jump, it seemed they were about even the rest of the way down the track.

E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
And for others, if you could buy a million dollar car, you would not ask what else you could do with it. These folks are not financing or running around living in an apt because they spend their bi-weekly check on their ride.

Why doesn't someone put the Veyron against this. It would be RAPE for the Veyron As awesome as the Veyron is the GT-R for the price is a technological MARVEL. It's become an almost untouchable.

ONLY ran 10.2? Dude...it ran it as if it was nothing...no burn out..no weight reduction...pump gas....nothing. And it also put nearly 140mph while it was at it.

Don't forget on stock wheels and rubberband tires lol. Doesn't look like they even launched hard and banged 10.2. Sucks I was just at that track a week ago! Would like to have seen those runs in person.

He even had a freaking passenger...they aren't excuses, just facts. This is very simple, what bone stock car can run low 10's/high 9's without modifying ANYTHING? Tune out the traction control ( which lowers boost in the first 2 or 3 gears if I'm not mistaken ) and add four slicks all around and you have an 8 second car without any drama ( although the launch may be pretty dramatic ). Heck, no E55, regardless of mods, has ever bested a 100% bone stock veyron.
The Veyron is a sick machine, but you do pay for having such a sick machine so it is what it is.

I checked the following URL and came up with nothing:
www.certifiedpantydroppers.com
Exactly how are these certifications performed, and is there a published spec somewhere? Can you self-certify or do you have to send in your results and have them confirmed by an independent governmental authority?
I assume this is a certification that requires annual renewal?
New car manufacturers would probably provide this certification at the time of purchase along with all the other warranty paperwork, but for a used car it seems that this would be something that the seller would be expected to provide.....like a VMI or CARFAX?

Litigator, no disrespect to your bro at all. I probably would have done the same thing. BTW, is your CTS-V an auto or manual?
