I know you are king of axles right now, but we got 3 of these v12 about to hit the road and one will be E85. Also 2 55k cars are lined up to get a whipple strapped on before race season starts here so I will probably we investing in stocks for whom ever is making axles and diffs for Benz.

You want to hear something funny...Looking at your graph where you have the wheel spin at about 100-102, that's exactly where I nearly lost it last night..., I spun at about 110 and let off. Need Drag radials Asap!

Funny you mention that, we are actually working on fitting some rims on the car so we can put a real tire on it. Little bit of milling/machining and we'll be running some Hoosiers before you know it. Nice thing is we'll be able to keep the stock big brakes on the car and still run a 17 inch rim.

That dyno is close to double a stock 55K. Going to be some HUGE 1/4 and mile records put up this year.

Along with Jody's Ev12 and a couple other cars we are working on right now, we are deffinetly going after some records. If we don't set some ET or speed records we for sure will set a record for most broken axles, diffs, driveshafts, etc.

Never, they are slower than my little V8
Only one that seems to be way out in front, was that CL65 renntech tuned and ran a 10.3 I believe. I do wonder if that tune can be run on the street though I know once Jody gets a full pass in his car, it will be game over, so I will change my tune once that happens
V12's are definitely fast, but I am not a fan of the power delivery vs that of the 55K motor.
Why does no one run a tiny shot of sauce or meth on the V12's, they have big heat issues and would love the cooling aspect. I could only imagine what a 50 or 75 shot would do with a tune only on those monsters.
Do they have all forged bottom ends?

In all honesty, not making excuses but do not expect great numbers from my car. it's still a work in progress and we don't even have a finalized tune yet, its all mail order so far.
I will tell you something though, you are spon on with the heat of the V12. 1 pull and you are done..this things is a running oven. You can't mess with the instant torque of the V8, that is miss dearly.
Yes they are all forged bottom ends.

Even in 30-40* temps, I can only make 2-3 real good passes at MIR before my day is done. Even letting it sit for 1-2 hours does almost nothing. IAT on the V12 cars run 50-60 above ambient in normal driving, and only gets worse from there.
These things are nuclear reactors.

Not sure if anyone else has or how far he went.

If the bottom end is all forged, why not throw a small shot on it Jody, Clayton? The only other thing that could cause you to not spray is if the compression is somewhat high the V12 motors or the heads do not breath well.
Other than that, have you thought about giving it a go. I have a complete stainless kit, wet 50 shot, with heater blanket available if interested
The kit hits 50% harder than the advertised shot, so you can expect 75rwhp out of this sum b***h!

believe me, it will do wonders.
talking from seeing and racing with it on tuned, downpie, 65 with 100 NOS.
no need to retune also
just don't use it on first & seconed and can be controlled mannually and don't push the between between shifting or it give missfiring and limp mode.

How many guys are there in the 10's right now, on this board, and how many have been chasing that milestone?
The answer to the first question is, 2!!!
The answer to question two is, 100's!!!
Not to be a jerk man, but you are still way off that mark. LowPro can attest to how hard it is too hit the number, guys are throwing it around like it is the norm, as I mentioned above, the stars have to align perfectly to get there.
BK is the king right now, and it takes ALOT of planning out your combo, plenty of trial and error, and near perefct conditions which he can attest too. The brotha is so humble, so I doubt he would come in here and say how much effort it takes, or that it is a quick 1-2-3 of throwing mods on your car and saying, hey here I come 10's....

Sorry Craig i had to bump this post lol. Just wanted to prove that i knew what i was doing all along when everyone doubted me. I broke 10's fairly easy considering the car wouldnt shift right. Next time out with a properly shifting car im going for the record at full weight then with 40 shot to see how fast it will go. Then we're dropping all the weight we can and see how close to a 9 it will go. I for one know how hard it is to run a 9 anything and that will be the true challenge right there. Looks like 2012 is going to be interesting
You don't want to come off as you're "thumbing your nose" at everyone who has fell short of the 10.99 benchmark.
