Raced a full bolt on + race gas 335 last night..
I havnt been around on the forum lately but my buddy wanted to race me with race gas in his car. He has jb4, downpipes, intercooler, intakes, no cats. Hes runnning 16.5. The outcome without race gas is me always walking him easily on a roll and close from 0 till we get high
1st race:
30-130. Dead even till after 100 at the end of race was a half car in front
2nd race:
45-150:
He gets a lil jump i reel em in and get just over a car on him
3rd race:
45-130
Dead even until after 100 started to pull just over half car length
Race gas did wonders !! Im stock w/ meisterschaft mufflers (res/cats) removed. Mthis gave me his camera but unfortunately i did something wrong and took 150 pictures. Very good races im upset no videos i never like to race with no proof ! Still good fun.

Yessir ! Prob in long island by best buy.
Yeah i was putting serious lengths on him before but with the race gas he put it on map 7 which is the higher boost map and he was running alot better.

Very nice win! I raced a Active Auto 335i and a stage 2 Active Auto M3. I took the AA 335i by 2 car lengths by 100+ I started to pull even more. Then with the AA M3 he was infront of me till 90-100 I started to pull. This was when I only had a H/E, IC pump, and K&N filters.

Yeah 335 is a great car and its really fast for the mods but i love this dam car ! I never seem to get enough of it.
Lol the best is when the people with very little knowledge about cars get a taste of the car. They ask me is that 2010/2011 ? Nope 2004

Performance Specs: Power : 505 BHP @ 7650 rpm Torque : 365 ft/lbs @ 5400 rpm Boost Level : 9-10 psi

couple of years ago, I had a bug to buy a n54 car, either 335 coupe or 535, but it would take too much hassle to get it to the performance on my E55.
It can be done easily but the dealers are vigilant about mods and that was a turn off.
Now that v8TT's are around 550i 4.4 and E550 4.6, no need to settle for a 3L TT or single twin scroll..
A used 335is with DCT would be my only exception.
its better to wait and get the v8 TT.. a simple tune, intake and exhaust mod and race gas should easily walk my stage 1 E55.
