99.9% getting SL600 Widebody 3M Matte/Satin color wrapped

Opinions... My 1st love is PLMCC Matte-Charcoal battleship theme, 2nd Satin Black not Matte, but Satin it has more sheen/oil to it less flat looking.. It takes (3-4) days local Here's Matte blk version (but almost played out @ this point?

If I went Matte/Satin blk it'd have to be this less Flat looking shade, looks pretty nice to me..

Here's PLMCC Matte Charcoal beast (sl500) still looks I'd finish it w/ALL Carbon Accents, grill, mirrors, color match wheels, heavy dark tint.. Thots please good or bad I know both are coming

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7KgR...e_gdata_player
PS not all looks we Dyno'd FRi, past record 633 rwhp 800+ rwtq, now after 4" completely 1-off custom CAI recieving ONLY fresh cold 50-60 degree ambient air, new huge HE, 1" thick, among other mods Full Cat-Delete we saw 702 rwp on Q16 (not properly tuned for it, res slammed w/ice, 876 rwt) Still need retune bigger injectors & Coolers.. For reference I made 450+ rwhp whn BONE STOCK on exact same Dyno..

So I'm moddaholic, I continually pick/poke/prod what can I improve on,etc even though in end my OPINION wins, I highly respect your modding ideas, I've learned a lot from this forum & appreciate ALL reco's etc so thank you in advance

I like it, it is a bit played out but still very rare.I am also a big fan of the matte pearl metalic white that comes on the SL cars. I believe it is a designo color.

I think the matte black would be filthy if you have the Designo Piano interior with the White leather seats! Tint it dark so when you openthe door its inviting with the white.

Thats my opinion but looks good!

E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
I like the look, from a distance. Been a few shows, have yet to see a perfect install up close. Always bubbles, edges, etc up close. Even from so called pros have issues up close. Hope yours comes out better. Nice car otherwise though.

Thanks for input guys my interior is 030 blk w/blk double stitching covered in real Carbon Fiber everywhere & charcoal Alacantra roof & steering wheel... I'm meeting the install shop/owner & going over few choice Euro autos they've just finished few for LA BMW dealership etc.. I've heard bad stories too about other shops & I'll do my due diligence

I honestly couldn't get behind matte/Pearl white, it's Battleship Matte Charcoal or Satin Black..

PS ALL window tint being redone DARK! & very light tint on headlights

satin is what you want... matte colors get dirty too easily

Matte shows fingerprints and what not. Also if the car is black to begin with, you may want to look in to doing satin guard... which is basically clear brai-ing the whole car with a satin clear bra

Based on what you offered us to choose from I'd say Battleship Charcoal. I'd say the contrast with the big black wheels will stand out, maybe with a red line on the rims. (I thought there was a member with a sick looking Viper similar color combo). Nothing against all the black on black guys, just feel its a bit played out and having it is one thing, getting it today is a bit too late. I don't expect this to be a car you are really letting get too dirty so that shouldn't be an issue for you to consider. Good luck and get back to use on what it feels like with 325's and close to 900 rwt, videos please.

I saw a vinyl wrapped Audi with a matte finish at the Berekley meet. Didn't look good in my opinion compared to the painted matte finishes I've seen on the SLS. Hard to describe why, but you could easily tell it was a wrap.

+1. I think it is a step back too. One positive, it will help protect his paint so it will stay looking great.
