I have an appointment to see a stock cts-V tonight :) ( Video now uploaded )

I met a dude last night with the supercharged V who wants to give it a go. Ive been dying to race a stock V and he found me ! He had a $60 tune and my face dropped. He told me he was thrown cel so he removed it. He has only k/n filters. I have no cats/res meisterschaft mufflers. We'll be doing rolls. Ill have videos for sure. Any predictions ?

Heres the video start is so well but you will see it clear... If its not uploaded yet give it a minute still being processed

Is it a stick or auto? The sticks make around 470rwhp stock, and the auto 440rwhp. I am assuming you are making around 430rwhp if you have a healthy beast, so depending on what tranny he has, will depend on the outcome, but I think he has the edge.

Try and go from a dig, that will be your best bet, good luck homey and make us proud

If only you could get a quick mail order tune, that would seal the win for you imo!

What year is it? I raced a 2010 CTS V coupe over the summer pulled about 7 or 8 times from about 30-50 up to 130-140 and we hung door to door. Best races I've had to this day. He did say it was under 4000miles though and I guess they are still limited or something and really dont open up till the car is more broken in. Should be some very close runs! Good Luck.

He has an auto but why would the manual come with extra power ? I dynoed 411whp/456wtq before the exhaust change to my car. If you go thru my threads and races i have represented pretty well lol. Ill def do my best. I just beat a 335 last week jb4 on race gas 16.5 psi, downpipes, intake, fmic so im running very healthy. Should be interesting cant wait.

I think the CTS-V with a tune can be pretty fast.

They just dyno higher due to less hp lost due to the powertrain. There is a flip side though, the manuals although make more power, dont shift as quick as the auto's.

It is going to be EPIC FO SHO brotha, just try and run from a dig as well. A roll imo is going to be hard for you, just my .02

It is a long drive from NY down to Mexico, so be safe

He said he had a $60 tune that he removed lol. So im assumig the guy in his 40's or so would be telling the truth lol. I raced a V on ( nos ). 45-90 was side by side until after 100 where he put 3 bus lengths. Not to mention he didnt tell me and i assumed it was a stock V. :/

I would say most auto V's dyno 450-470rwhp (Dynojet) and most manuals are in the 480-500rwhp. My auto V dynoed 462rwhp (Dynojet) completely stock.... with headers (HFCs back to stock mufflers), tune, and CAI it put down 549rwhp (same Dynojet).

Good luck brotha! My friend has a 2012 CTS-V sedan and he won't race me since I installed my mods. Oh well. Right now I'm trying to get another friend to run against me. He has a E60 M5 fully modded. We will video it for every one.

Thats impressive numbers for a stock car. The V should be heavier then my E. i might have a lil better whp then i dynoed due to minor exhaust change. Should be fun. I wont be surprised tho if the V pulls.
