that second one posted is better... I have it... Reason being is it plugs in through the port on the bottom and charges your phone as well as plays music and what not

Had one of these in my Porsche. My only reservation is how well my iPhone mic will work as an input if there's an audio out cable plugged in - or is there an integrated mic in this piece?

They BOTH Charge ALL iphn/ipod/tablets etc you just need to attach the USB port to iphn etc (the charger adapter your iphn comes w/ is all you need to charge iphn on 1st linked product) already tested it all works as advertised

The 2nd option does indeed look better though w/Remote & bottom iphn attachment vs extra USB wiring..

I can see it now... "No officer! I wasn't using my Cell phn by hand, it's a remote control to change ipod music" officer "Hmmm... TICKET!" Worth it as I use Iphn by hand 60% of time anyway...

Well here's my review:

The FM transmitter is total junk. I've had $4 ones work better. Tried many stations with no cigar. Tossed it in the back seat.
Cool design, looks like it works and can charge the iPhone with yur USB.

I guess it's good if you want to run a dyno app and trust it. Otherwise junk had much higher expectations.


EDIT: Maybe its not so bad after all, just different bands for different places

You're only going to get FM quality for your music, and you've got to imagine how small the transmitter is - but what do you expect for $12?

my wife has one - it's good enough for convenience/charging as hers also has 2 USB ports on it and you can charge 3 iphones at once when we're on long trips...
