Anyone tried the facelift ebay headlights -- 2007 style but fit 2006 ?
I don't want to mess with adapters etc so these seem like the perfect option.

The reflector is setup for an h7 halogen and it will require some time and effort to R&R the reflector to change it over to the OEM BiXenon lamp from your original headlights.
They are not plug and play

100% sure, the DEPO lamps are not BiXenon they are HID.
HID is not factory, BiXenon (Hella OEM) is factory.
Most people replace the DEPO reflector/projector lens with E55, Audi or Acura BiXenon lamps.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
It takes about 30 minutes to open the headlights, and you get to keep all of the existing functions of the lights (active cornering, leveling, bixenon, etc), no errors, and the updated look.
I snagged a broken pair of lights for like $50 from a junkyard.
Plan on doing the swap when I have more free time.
"Both lights (Hella and mine DEPO) have ABS plastic lens, almost no new car is using glass lens anymore, too easy to break. And plastic lens can be molded into many different shapes unlike glass, so it's better.
Both have similar built in quality, Hella has the best there is no doubt, but their price is simply too high. While DEPO is an ISO2001 certified company and this headlight is E-Marked, safe to use in Europe, will give you very similar to Hella quality without spending that kind of money."
"Hella is the one making it for Mercedes which a set of Hella headlight for this would be at least $2,000
DEPO is the OEM manufacturer for German FK-Automotive, not for Mercedes or Hella."
Regardless, the DEPO lamp accepts the oem ballast and oem bulb w/ igniter. Who cares if it's Bi-xenon or not? You have a high beam on the center light anyways.

They have them in clear and black. The black would be really hot!

If I do install them, my factory lights would be up for grabs at a great price.
