I really like the E63 tails I got on ebay. As I'm doing the E63 front end conversion was thinking I should get the headlights too.
I don't want to mess with adapters etc so these seem like the perfect option.

I tried buying those headlights from that seller and from another seller on ebay that has them and could not pay them for some reason ( I kept getting errors from paypal ) yet I could pay everyone else. I then find out that both sellers are the same seller with two different accounts and figured I'd stop trying to buy it after trying over 5 times on different days and communicating to the seller without luck.

FYI those lamps are DEPOs made in Taiwan.
The reflector is setup for an h7 halogen and it will require some time and effort to R&R the reflector to change it over to the OEM BiXenon lamp from your original headlights.
They are not plug and play

100% sure, the DEPO lamps are not BiXenon they are HID.
HID is not factory, BiXenon (Hella OEM) is factory.
Most people replace the DEPO reflector/projector lens with E55, Audi or Acura BiXenon lamps.

Why dont you guys just grab a broken pair of 07-09 lights, and swap the buckets....? (by broken, i mean smashed housing/broken tabs.)
It takes about 30 minutes to open the headlights, and you get to keep all of the existing functions of the lights (active cornering, leveling, bixenon, etc), no errors, and the updated look.
I snagged a broken pair of lights for like $50 from a junkyard. Plan on doing the swap when I have more free time.

I asked him some questions too and get this answer
"Both lights (Hella and mine DEPO) have ABS plastic lens, almost no new car is using glass lens anymore, too easy to break. And plastic lens can be molded into many different shapes unlike glass, so it's better.
Both have similar built in quality, Hella has the best there is no doubt, but their price is simply too high. While DEPO is an ISO2001 certified company and this headlight is E-Marked, safe to use in Europe, will give you very similar to Hella quality without spending that kind of money."
"Hella is the one making it for Mercedes which a set of Hella headlight for this would be at least $2,000
DEPO is the OEM manufacturer for German FK-Automotive, not for Mercedes or Hella."

He's talking about the outer lens...lol.
Regardless, the DEPO lamp accepts the oem ballast and oem bulb w/ igniter. Who cares if it's Bi-xenon or not? You have a high beam on the center light anyways.

How about these:

They have them in clear and black. The black would be really hot!

Yeap, his look awesome. I'm suprised more people haven't installed these yet. I've been trying to figure out if the ones they have for 2007+ models would work with cars with the factory bi-xenon option. I figure I would lose things like self-leveling and such. One place told me they would work if I used a HID conversion kit with them and one place told me they would definitely not work. So I've been going back and forth and whether or not to try it. I'm overseas on a military post, so I can't afford to buy them, have them not work and then not be able to return them.
If I do install them, my factory lights would be up for grabs at a great price.
