Ran a 2008 M6 tonight
did some 60-xxx runs.. and 0-100 runs..
my car i stock other than modified air boxes and resonator delete
m6 had a meisterschaft exhaust.. but didnt mention anything else..
the m6 got two car lengths on me on the freeway runs.. while i took it on the runs from a dig..
is the m6 stock? or modded more than just the "exhaust"?
i was quite disappointed by my cars performance...

The exhaust helps a M5/M6 by a considerable amount.
My freind has a M5 with the exhaust and he kept up with me pretty good but i pulled away from him.
Those cars really move past 100mph, good thing you didnt go that fast bc you would have been really disappointed

You win some and lose some, sounds like you did both. Tune, headers, pulley, and send him packing. No biggie. Those things get smoked like 318's out here in Cali.
BTW, moosejaw, nice sig, like that RX.

Nice run on the dig. Those m6's are very fast in the triple digits. Luckily I've ran into one from a dig. And the guy just couldn't get up to me. I'm sure it was driver error though.

Dont fear if you have a 63 brotha, skip everything else, add a 100 wet shot with a tune. Daily rapings in your favour will be what the doctor ordered.

I've smoked 'em on the autobahn from time to time and I get these "that's not right" looks from them every time.

My 63 with headers, exhaust, air box and a 125 shot with standalone fuel would not give it up to many cars on the street. It's a nasty combo for sure, now you have the SC setups to take it to the next level.

Re: M6 Run
I dilly dallied with a Dinan M6 in my SL last Summer, spanked him handily several times including a top end run. Had I been in my E63 that day, it would have been a much closer race though.
Dannish,
Be sure your air filters are clean, they are a kinda small and get dirty quicker than you'd think, fresh filters always wake mine up nicely. New OEM filters are like $18, I change em a few times a year for optimum airflow.
If you want to stay stock, get your dealer to flash the latest ECU/TCU calibrations from I believe 9-2011. I've been running these since December, and they are pretty darn good, notably better than the earlier stock calibrations mine had.
Alternately, get Jerry's ECU tune. You will be surpised at just how strong your car is on top end......and everywhere else.
Then go have another run with that pesky M6.
