2016 Cls63s AMG
--thermostat help plz--

so just this morning i woke up early and it was a bit cold and i go on to turn my heat up and nothing :/ blows cold air... so with that said the thermostat is stuck open am assuming.... and i don't know what kind to get, summer is coming and live in FL... also what is the regular running heat on these cars??? mine is staying on the next line up of 80° and falls down a bar or two goes back up etc...

any help would be appreciated
and any idea were i can source a thermostat other than dealer???

It's a bit complicate to work on because it such a tight squeez. The valve cost $42.00. If you decide to do it yourself make sure to get cold beers ready cuz you might need it..LOL

I did it myself with no issues at all. Maybe 45 mins. to do. I believe there is a how to on it.

okay part ordered at dealer was 54$ but through a mechanic $34 yay

well ill give it a go on my day off... am usually a diy guy for not so complex stuff...

also what is normal temperature for these cars say on a hotter day??? mine goes over the 80° mark to the other line never over but goes down a bar or two

well i did the heater changeover valve my self, wasnt bad at all other than the clamp on the hose was a b!tch to come off.. i replaced it with a screw on one much easier works great job done saved some money and now off to the beach lol
