80mm tb install DIY ?

I need your help by installing an MB SL 80mm tb please.
There are still some threads but they are older in can't see pics.

My questions:
Is it possible to lift the sc just on the back without removing the fuelrail etc ?
Is it plug&play or must i chance some pins?
Thank you and sorry but in Germany nobody can help me :-(

That's all i have.
Do i need something else?
Thank you

You definitely have to remove the supercharger to replace the sc inlet.

As far as changing the pins, try plug the 80mm unit in the car and see if it works.

You need to remove the fuel rail, as there are bolts under it that hold the SC on. The SC has to come off , to change the inlet.

Most 80mm I ever saw had to have a pin swap. One easy way to tell, is to see if the throttle body blade opens the same way as your stock. If it came off and SL, then you may be fine..

What are you doing about the bigger inlet in the TB?

I'm just a little bit worried about the install because I never removed the sc before.

The tb came off an SL 55 2006.
The part# is A275 140 00 04

I will check my 80 but im 99% sure you need to swap pins and that tb does not have a opening for the oil vapor hose.

No worries and you can do a few things to make it work.

I would put a hose on the little y fitting and run it right to the inlet to avoid tapping the tb and dont try to take that cable off as its glued on the tb and you will damage it trying to take it out.

If you decide to not install it i would buy just your tb since i hacked mine up trying to get the cable off and started cutting the amg rubber part.mine wirks but i just want a clean one on the car.

Good luck buddy!!!

I used the search.
The 1&4, 5&6 pin swap is for the 80mm tb with the part# A113 140 0104.
But i can't find it for the 80mm SL tb with the part# A275 140 00 04.
Car is still standing at the shop and nobody knows about :-(

First of all, disconnect the battery for ten minutes and see if the codes still there.

After you connect the battery and the codes still pop up, switch the wires 5&6. Good luck.

We used star diagnostic to delete the codes.
Tried pin 2-3 and 5-6 but we get the same errorcodes :-(
Should i trie just pin 5 and 6?

U sure u plugged the TB plug into the TB and not swapped the lead for the bypass valve ... Seem to remember they the same socket ...?

My 80mm TB was plug and Play ... Perhaps the pin swap had been done already ...
