What the Fawk, how do I get this to fit?

Got a carbino air box and python tubes and can'y get it to fit with an 82mm TB fron Eurochgarged. Does any one know how this is supposed to fit? Do I have to shave the TB or what? Please let me know.

Did you happen to purchase their intake that's made for the 82mm t/b. I'm thinking the intake is made for a stock t/b therefore not able to slide completely onto the 82mm. You might be able to port the inlet larger but I'm not certain if there is enough material there to port. First thing to do is verify you have the correct intake.

It looks like your adapter plate and TB combo might be to long since the box has no flex point. Do you have a picture of the TB side as well since maybe you can grind down the tab/stopper so that it seats deeper onto the TB.

CLS55 AMG
looks like you need to cut the inlet about half an inch, then it will slide on

I wonder how much Hp will pick up with CF stuff..... 10hp to 15hp ? your car is already stage 3 + 550 injectors...... I think you have more traction issue than power issue.

I had the first adaptor plate ever made for an 82mm TB and CF intake and yes, had to cut the CF intake neck and port it out some.

The CF intake is for an 82,but even my stock airbox sits very close to the fire wall. Rage-Tek should be able to get it on any way. Thannks!
