I'm running Benz Works 2 piece rotors and Porterfield R4S pads. I have about 200 miles on them now and absolutely NO complaints. I ran stock rotors and porterfield R4S pads previously and had no complaints either. They lasted me FOREVER...even did a few track events on them without any problems.

I've been on the Racing Brake front rotors for a number of months now and no complaints. I've been using OEM brake pads for no noise at all... probably could use more aggressive pads for better grip but haven't had the need to slam on the brakes.

I had 55K miles on mine when I swapped all four corners for Evosports. That included 8 full track days and while there was very slight cracking around some of the cross drills they still had a good 10-20K of normal driving. With the stock rotors you should be able to run at two sets of pads thru them before they even seem chewed.

You just need a hole punch, pliers, and a flat head to put the top clip back in maybe...Pop the 2 pins out, remember which way the top clamp was sitting, spread the pads with hand pressure, drop the pads and reverse the order...

I have 10K miles on mine and no problems. Taking it to the track in a couple weeks.

Without machining them?

I only have 22,000 miles and the pads light is on.
I also have some vibration when stoping from around 100mph.

Does Akebono offer F/R pads for the W211 E63? I've found some dead threads with this question. If Akebono is not an option, which pads are providing great stopping power with low dust?

I'm not sure about akebono. But I been using Porterfield R4S pads with very low dust and great stopping for the last two years.

I just ordered the disc replacement for my Racing Brakes and ordered their ET500... Will receive them by next week.

Read their web, they have different compounds:

Thanks, for the heads up. I'll definitely be looking into Racing Brake and Frozen rotors, once the time comes. This brake dust battle is killing me.

Thank you for your order, I am sure you will be very pleased with our ET500 brake pads.

Learn from this SL550 customer why our ET500 pads makes him happy.

Racing Brake makes me happy

We don't make brake pads for all vehicles like other brake pad mfgrs, rather we make pads for those cars we supply two piece rotors and brake kit.

We carefully formulate our compound to enhance the overall braking performance with our two piece rotors as well as OE rotors.
