I have stock e55 with cm30 pump.. I want to get eurocharge tune but my quesiton is is it safe to run a tune? only with cm30 pump?

Also will tune hurt the motor or cause any problems in a long run?

Read up on this a great deal and considering I am having EC tune mine as soon as my headers go in this weekend, I would say you are safe. They are a proven performer who stands by their work. The cooling issue is primarily if you are going to track the car or run it hard for an extended amount of time. The heat soak will just cause performance drops, not damage. I run my car fairly hard but don’t take it to the track. I have the CM 30 and have never had a heat soak issue, even in august when it is 90 degrees + here in PA. If I took it to the tracks those days, yes, I would need to do more cooling mods, but for just cruising with a few hard pulls thrown in there, I have never had an issue. Can’t wait till next week to have the tune put on. Go to the site or call them and they will tell you what to expect. They are first class and I would trust my ride to them.

Eurocharged Performance ML63 and TT lambo
your fine to run only with the tune and cm30 We designed the tune around the stock vehicle, and its a noticable difference.

Do it! It's night and day. That was the first mod I got on my car and ran it with stock cooling for months. The thing HAULED like a dirty disgusting pig.

Be forewarned, you will get the bug. I'll look forward to reading your thread about the best pulley or headers for the beast; say in about 4-5 months?

EC like any tuner is going to push the parameters a bit in order to get you more torque and HP. Engine makers have to design their engines for all sorts of conditions and all sorts of drivers like the idiots that run crap gas and don’t maintain the engines properly.

I, like many forum members run an EC tune. They are very reputable and will work with you if problems do happen even unrelated to the tune. Trust me, I know this first hand. Slap an EC tune on that bad boy and take good care of the engine. You will be very happy with it. There is one caveat. This could lead you to a very contagious disease known as mod sickness. You will get no sympathy from the board if it happens.
