Hey, just wanted to say guys - I'm not promoting or selling anything with this thread - was simply for info...

Please don't rant about other items, just stick to the S/C pulley and keep it on topic

I am taking no sides since I don't have an interest for either party or any products from either side of the people going back and forth in this thread. But I sure hate when people lie and are full of ****, further compounded when it is blatantly obvious the pulley has only been on for 4 months since you made a thread on Jan 15th saying you installed it a week before then. Apparently you have driven like a mad man on a few cross country trips and put 15,000 miles on the car in the last 4 months, or you are just lying through your nose and I am pretty confident it is the latter.

Lol this is funny to me! My 55 is my daily.. I drive it to work every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I work 18.3 miles away, so on those days I drive 36.6 miles a day, I go to school every Tuesday and Thursday, which is 28.9 miles away, which is 57.8 miles going and coming on those days add it all up that is 225.4, 5 days out of the week. Plus maybe 80-120 miles on the weekend unless I go to ATX or San Antonio that weekend. Since January my car has been driven to Los Angeles, California twice which is a little over 1,500 miles so there is 6,000miles.

I installed this pulley at 88,088 miles and I took a picture of the mileage when it was installed, I wish iPhones could date stamp. I am not sure of the exact milage on my car now (In Body Shop) but it is around 102,000 miles. Sorry I just calculated that and it was 14k miles lol sorry I was off by 1,000 miles! Once I get my car back I will take a photo of the current mileage.

Here is the pic..

Here's a picture of my car out of commission at the moment (E63 Front End)

Here's a pic of my sweet loaner, they wanted to give me a CLK but I told them that's a chick car so I got the E30 M3 with a 95 M3 motor swap!

+1 for feeding the bears

good to see some brevity in the midst of the naysayers - I'm sure everyone will add their two cents - but kudos Kauve for stepping up!

225 miles per week so 4 months 1800 miles or 2000 miles.
2 trip to Los Angeles in 4 months ? really ?
6000 miles + 2000 miles total 8K miles. Not to mention overlap time 2 times round trip to LA. Not even close to 14k in 4 months.

Yea i cant post on PSC either after there was proof showing Brooke is the owner of PSC he didnt like that very much. I wonder why they try to cause problems on MBWorld to get people to go to that site or why the push their products on this site when they have their own. Makes sense now huh?

Hey Shardul. Are you ever going to answer my questions?

you guys always trying to knock down the dudes that are trying to improve things for the E55s (IMHO)

vendor atrocities aside - if more people put their energy into their cars instead of into whining on the forums, we could fly to the moon by now in an E55

I for one am not (nor ever claim to be) a wrench that could even think of designing a pulley, or heat exchanger, or insert blah blah here...
So you have to give some credit to these guys. If you feel you can do better - than DO IT!

LOL, You need to check your math buddy. Like I said in my post above I drive to San Antonio and ATX as well. Just go back and do the math if your smart enough. Or would you like me to do that for you?

Edit: It's 16 weeks.. 16 weeks x 225 = 3600 right? That is only 5 days out of the week and only to and from school and work.. Not including the weekend, my life outside school and work and so on.

(225.4+80)*4weeks per month * 4 months = 4,886.4
4,886.4+6000=10,886.4
That's not the complete miles for the LA trips or accounting for driving around while there or other trips. Why is it so hard to believe some E55 are not garage queens.

Also, 225*4= 3600 not 1800-2000.

So Kauve drives his car more than most. That's a good thing.

You haven't been here long enough to know anything about who has done what. Steve and I are #1 and #2 for the quickest 1/4 mile 55s and have shared tons of info with the board. I've been in the tens for years now and have helped a bunch of people. You're still a noob, you will learn

Yea Brooke and Shardul can be helpful and have helped many.do you think they developed these products to help or make money?
