Same thing happened to me 2 months ago. Heard the pop and it was the right front. Called Arnotts and got it in 3 days. Job is a piece of cake. Took me less than an hour to remove it.

My friend heard a pop on his 03 E500 about 2 years ago...
Drivers front strut lost all of its air. Towed it to the dealer and it inflated for them and held air... They couldn't repro the issue and sent him on his way.
25000 miles later, still holding air...

nothing... i just didnt get enough feedback on the product. I read threads bashing them and others saying they were great. it was just bad timing it went out the day before i was going to las vegas and i had a lot of stuff to still do before i left. the steelership is 8 miles away so i just sent it there.

What are the complaints on the arnotts? Thought everyone was pretty happy with them. I thought it was kinda funny when I read on their website that they use their own valving system. Is that the issue?

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. It totally sucks that it blows out only after 39k miles! 
My vote goes to taking out the crapmatic and installing a nice set of coilovers. I'm running KW V2's at the moment. It'll last longer and ease the worries of it possibly happening AGAIN later down the line...

Went to take the beast out for a ride and I too got the red display of death. The right front quit on me while it was sitting at the house.
Guess I'll be testing out the GMPP warranty tomorrow.

Sry to hear that but hey at least u have a warranty ! Who is gmpp? I have seen others that has it. I was told to use fidelity.
