How is your A/C?
Hey gang just wanted to get a feel from you guys on your air conditioning. I am comfortable in it, but sometimes I like it blowing COLD and it just lets me down. We have a fleet of new Chevy Sonics at work and man the A/C in there will run you out, I get in my E55 and it's just lackluster, lilke I said, it's cool, just not COLD.
How are you guys' A/C systems compared to other cars you drive or have driven?
BTW, yes the system is properly charged and working 100% according to my manifold set, the dealer and an indy guy here.

Anymore info on this would be great. It seems to take forever for my E63 to cool down and it never gets really really cold. My work car, Nissan Altima, blows the E away in A/C quality.

Same here.. 07 E63.. I just doesn't get cold enough... Perhaps something we could change in the "Secret Menu"..on the A/C controls?

I drive a lot of rental cars, including the Sonic, and my E55 is at least as cold. Extremely happy with the A/C performance.

That's great man! Although it is rather disappointing to see you are the ONLY one happy with their A/C system, you would think a car of this level would be set up better.

I also thought it was a bit lack luster. Def had some GM cars that made me feel like I was growing icicles where icicles should never be!

My E55 HVAC was crazy all together. AC was never bone chilling cold and heat really only worked when turned to the max. Also, if I left the vents on during morning starts, the cabin wreaked of a gas smell.

In my case, the AC is cold but the blower feel weak. I replaced it with a new one and it still feels weak ( previous one was chirping ). My wifes Grand Vitara blows harder at 25% then my E55 does at 50%.
