Long tubes and lowered..
I want to put a set of long tubes on my car,but I rececntly put wheels and lowered the car..Those of you who are running long tubes and lowered, are you having any clearance issues?? Not sure which ones to get that will not hang low,I really love the sound of them and not sure if I want to go with shorties..

Thanks Peter .. long time .. how are you hope all is well . Yes I have been speaking with Bruce .. what a guy . I guess I am just on the fence regarding 1 3/4" MBH vs 1 7/8" TTM for the primaries .. I really dont want to loose any torque thats what I am afraid of

I highly doubt that anyone going with Long Tube headers would have their car in stock height , so unless it is slammed I cant see how either MBH or TTM would design anything that would hang that low . If i am not mistaken the TTM ones have longer primaries and larger collectors but I am sure you can discuss that with Bruce

I have the MBH headers and I am lowered. I will touch headers over a speed bump if I go too fast. I also scraped once at 80mph while bombing through the Mojave. The roads have some crazy whoops and dips. These things are 14 gauge stainless and are pretty much ready for use on an up-armored Humvee. If I ever hit an IED, I'm confident the headers will still be good.

Thank you guys for the feedback, the car is pretty low and pretty much the same height as my other E which had the Supersprint LT's and had some clearance issues..
Kompressede, how are you liking the ARH??
Maxwerks,I am having the same dilema, which one to go with, the MBH or the ARH..

I would take a minute and talk to Bruce. (TTM) I think he mentioned he was going to pull together a GB?
I don't think your going to lose torque, the key is the headers are free flowing. The Header kit is pretty modular, cats or no cats, xpipe, or not . . .
Dyno numbers to come shortly.
