If your rear diffuser has come to the end of it's life...
I've had my diffuser on for about 1.5 years now. After multiple "rubs" and exposure to elements, it started looking rather sad.
Oh yeah, the most important part, some A hole rubbed up against me trying to park (I assume) and cracked it. I came back to my car and saw it literally hanging by one 4 inch strip that was still glued. Explored all the options and decided on a DIY.
I went and bought one can on flat black paint, some glue and got to work.
I have to admit, I wasn't sure about the black diffuser but now I really like it. It looks more "stock" than ever just with a twist. Bottom line, if you want to spring some new life into your rear diffuser, save yourself $$$ and just spend $15 in supplies, $10 in beer, and a couple hours of your Sunday afternoon.

I've painted the interior trim on my old 02 WRX subaru I had. I just took all the trim pieces off and shaved them down and put some paint thinner to remove whatever paint or coat was on there.
Sprayed it flat black, and it looked brand spanking new. Yeah you might have to repaint it every year or two, but still worth the $10 can of flat black.
