But guys, it sounds exactly as the old one, wining and noisie, thats beacuse i think its a doubble shaft oilpump with is unussal on a normal car.
Any one who have a noise oilpump dont change they sounds like that.

I do have an rebuild tranny beacuse the contact was leaking for maybe 1 year before i buy the car. And the oil pump for the gearbox is quiet as the night.
But the oilpump is noisy and that one is new, the sound is really scary but it over 1400-1500 rpm as many says here.
What i did see on the oil pump is that its a double pump in one body. Double shafts in it.

Beleave me, its the engine oil pump that is noisy! I know, because i swap my old E55 113.990 engine with new S55 113.991 engine wich have 2 gears oil pump (compare to E55 6 !!! gears oil pump). So i had to swap oil pumps also (and between that i explore all parts of both oil pumps).
20.000 km latter i discover that with lower viscosity engine (lower then mobil 0W-40) oil pump noise almost 100% dissapear. So i use Castrol SLX Professional 0W-30 engine oil and with that oil noise is there only at really cold start for cca 1 minute. After that it totaly disapear. And not only that, but even oil pressure is much better with SLX compared to M1 0W-40!!! On top of that i get better fuel millage and cleaner engine interior with that oil compared to M1. So for me SLX is total winner compared to M1. And i use it for almost 7 years in all my cars (and i have/had a lot of them) with great succes.
Try with different engine oil (maybe even different 0W-40 will work) and noise will dissapear. 100%.
EDIT: I also have slight tranny oil pump noise at colder weather. And is different then engine oil pump noise.

Okej sounds good, thats why in the service book it always have 0w-30 oil in it. And i told my self what a crap workhop who have done the service, But now it seems that they knowed about the oil problem .
Okej do you think that the oil pump have been bad beacuse i have used 0w-40 m1 ??? I have droven 4500 km until now.
Here in Sweden we dont have slx proffesional we do have Egde 0w-30 FST ? Does this one work ?
So nothing wrong with pump.
Yeah, Castrol edge professional 0W-30 or Castrol edge sport 0W-30 will work just as good as Castrol SLX Professional Longtec 0W-30. In the matter of fact those 2 oils are just different names for same (SLX) oil. Just make sure to NOT buy SLX Longlife. This oil is good at long intervals and.not so good at oil film pressure/general lube action.
I wondering, are there anyone who tried another 0w-40 insted of the Mobil 1
Iam thinking to dirve a while with 0w-30 and try another 0w-40 next time
The brands iam thinking about is
Castrol egde 0w-40
Liquid molly 0w-40
Pennzoil 0w-40
Some one who can recomend any of these brands above ?
I wanted to inform every one here maybe ut help somone.
Was wonder: Where can I buy Castrol SLX Professional 0W-30 oil for Mercedes cls55?
I have same whining noise and would like to try out with Castrol but can't find it. I'm in Ohio usa.
