I'm using the default PIDs that Dash Command found. I just recently removed some of the Speed & Mileage sensors because I'm not looking at logging MPG

Pretty much depends on the medium you're going to use - if your device has bluetooth or WiFi (or both?)

As you know, the iphone 4 has both wifi and bluetooth capabilities. I guess it just depends on whatever you can get the cheapest?

i've heard BT is slower to update, but I have no experience testing one against the other...

Todd - Can you post data showing your IATs after a 3rd gear pull ? I saw that you posted that your IATs cruising are 10* above ambient which I have only ever seen with a split system (please let me know if you split the system). I am curious as I am testing different ways to keep IATs low.
FWIW, once I have driven my car hard, my non split system seems to keep IATs around 20 - 25* above ambient.

For some reason I cannot view the data....downloaded, opened excel, tried to open the file importing CSV....garbage...sorry
Did you split your system ? Are you running the pump all the time (hard wired) ?

Thanks Toddd...reviewing now - looks good...
So you must have missed my questions :
(1) Did you split your system ?
(2) Are you running the h/e pump all the time (hard wired) ?
And what is the average & peak boost you are running ?

2) brand new Bosch 010 pump was installed last month - not sure if it's running all the time, but seems that it would be as it's been in the 90's 100s ambient around here

I have to check average/peak boost...

I believe the hard wiring of the pump is a great mod to do...mine is not done right now and only turns on when under WOT....running the pump all the time will definitely help keep temps down...splitting will help even more..

HA!
I finally got back from my Japan trip and figured out my PLX WiFi issue. Turns out that there is some sort of problem with the OBD-II splitter that I was using to share my OBD port with the PLX and the Valentine Saavy device.
As soon as I bypassed the splitter and plugged into the OBD port directly the connection worked perfectly.
I collected a quick log file tonight (need to get the Excel conveter to read it) and it looks like I need to learn more about configuring PIDs to get a complete data set in the future.
Anyway.... I'm happy at least that I'm able to play along on this thread and start comparing and sharing data with others here.

overall I'm pretty pleased for $60 for my Kiwi WiFi and $50 for the DC app![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
works on all of our vehicles
