04 E55
Sold my R32 and moved up in the world
And bought an 04 e55 with 46k miles.
Ive been lurking around here for the past few weeks, didn't register or anything, wasnt sure if I was actually gonna pull this off. But i posted the R up for sale on vwvortex, and a guy bit around the same time i found this particular E55 in philly.
he listed it for 26,500 with a set of uninstalled eurocharged headers BNIB, and i called him and threw 23,000 out there, expecting him to meet me in the middle, and he just himmed and hawed and said ok, sure. i can do 23.
YES!!
It came with the following upgrades:
- 82 mm throttle body
- custom intakes
- lowering links
- resonator cut out
- crank pulleys
- eurocharged tune
- diffuser, injectors, heat exchanger
that was literally copied and pasted from his post. his buddy seemed a bit more knowledgable than him.
anyways, on to the pics!

welcome to the dark side. the car looks good.
Take off the front wheels and check to see if the previous owner took off the front bearing caps to allow the centercap to fit. mine had the same wheels and it was missing the bearing caps when I bought the car. Wouldn't want to destroy the bearings.

Looks nice, if you haven't done so check all the mods, also, either modify the air intake or go stock because all you are doing is sucking up hot air from the engine bay

THIS. Very good deal on that car though, low mileage, assuming no major body work. Who makes the wheels and why would the bearing cap have to be modded/removed?
