Heat Exchanger Review after 4 year of use.

i have this setup for 4 years now (acutally I bought it used from PTE so it may even be older than 4 years). works perfectly, knock on wood! once more heat exchanger in addition to the factory unit. Oil cooler stays in same location so no buldging of bumper issues etc.etc Just figured I would post a review after 4 years of a useage. If anyone is interested i can take some dimensions and post it.

That's my car. Setup looks a bit different than yours. You sure its the same? What size line and pump are you using and do you have trunk reservoir?

I didn't buy it directly from Nate. My friend had it for over a year before I got it from him and I know he didn't spray it. I tested everything before I bought it and it worked great. Needless to say a tune later it needed a new engine and I have been running that motor with just headers since but I think its time to throw some mods back on. A bad tune is much worse than a nice nitrous setup. You already knew the story so I don't know why you're saying these things

I couldn't agree more, go lean a couple of times at WOT and see what happens.

Whether anyone agrees or not, NOS eventually kills motors, there's no denying that there was damage done from the NOS and then it's easy to put blame on a tuner when the engine finally gives out

Nitrous dosent kill motors. A bad tune kills motor and that goes for nitrous/forced induction/naturally aspirated. Promods spray 3-5 systems worth anywhere from 1200-2000hp worth of nitrous and do it round after round. Now if your off the slightest bit on a nitrous tune your usually done depending on the size of the shot.

Right Steve and those same ppl rebuild their engines all the time like yourself correct?

How can any of you say with confidence that there was not any damage at all to his engine? Come on man lol

Because it was run for over a year without spray at least and the car made more power than any other 55 he tuned on that dyno the week before he touched it! It just happened to let go on all 8 cylinders the first pull after his tune???

Great point, Steve sprayed his car and his internals were fine! Its the rtr pulley that damaged the crank keyway haha!

So NOS kills motors. How about nitrous express or zex? Do they kill motors too?? If the damage was done by the nitrous why did it take two years to surface and why did it happen immediately post tune?

And to your point. Driving your car eventually kills the motor and breathing eventually leads to death so we are all doomed!!

Ok whatever
It's sooo much easier to blame the tuner instead of the guy that his name says it all
Good luck

All this coming from a guy I'm willing to bet has never even had nitrous on a car or would know what to do if he even had it. All you know is what someone tells you so stop trying to act like you know anything when it's clear you don't. I've sprayed a bigger shot and made more power than anyone I've ever heard of and on a engine with 120,000 miles yet it looked perfect inside. Since you know everything boost kills engines right? Or do you need to call and ask someone how to respond? Point is the motor ran great when he bought it and compression was good. Jeremy does a tune on. First pull it breaks all 8 pistons and I've seen all of them and the damage it caused. Yea it wasnt the tune. Oh by the way.... How many engines have you rebuilt? How many have you even removed? Yea the answer would be zero. I'd much rather break barriers and push the limits than be a keyboard hero like yourself. And FYI the engine came out because the RTR pulley like you already know so what better time to build it bigger and stronger.
