Anyone have a parts list to do this with the Cobra reservoir? Looks like a good Saturday project, I've been meaning to get this done.

I don't have a parts list but this tank is used on alot of fords. I found one on an older explorer. Go to any junk yard and look under a few hoods and you will find the tank for about $20.

My plan is up front, but I have not yet received it...Once I get it I will figure out the mounting location and if it does not fit, I can return it.
I will post a DIY with parts and part #s as soon as I am done. I will also post pre and post data to prove if there is a benefit with a "small split system". If the data proves there is no real advantage with a small reservoir I will likely get a large rear mounted tank. Then the next obvious mod is a killer chiller to keep the water uber cold and the IATs low low low....

I wanted to get a larger reservoir than the BMW power steering tank and am hoping the Ford reservoir will fit. I also think it is important to have a feed line and return line (I know some are installing reservoirs that only have a feed line).

Did you do the install and if so, can you list the parts (part numbers, hose sizes, etc.) ?

so which one is better? The Ford VS BMW reservoirs! I have the BMW reservoir but if the Ford one is better I will change it. Also what is the capacity of the Ford recovery tank?
P.S. Here is the Ford reservoir for all of you that asked about the part number:

99lightning - would you please post a few more detailed pictures (how your tank is mounted, etc.) ? I know I will need to cut the factory Ford mounting bracket, but am curious where your guys bolted it down. Also, if you could take pictures of how they ran the lines that would be helpful too.
FWIW - the first Ford tank I bought was too big (for later model SC fords), and now I have the 03-04 SVT tank. The 03-04 SVT tank holds slightly more than 3 cups of liquid.
