Man I forgot how freaking fast our cars can be.I just got that perfect second gear pull with no ecu kicking in and pulling power.I had full grip and we went from 50 mph.
He was modded and had an exh and I could hear the turbos spoolin hard.
I gave him a half car and he beeped 3 time and I freaking sling shot like a 100 yards on him lol.

Nice...As you point out modified 335s can be quite fast....not as much torque as our cars, but can make some great hp....A friend has a fully built m3 with a HPF turbo kit and puts down over 700 whp - just an insane car to drive.

I raced a 335i one of the first couple weeks i had my car (bone stock). he ended up putting several car lengths on me, and needless to say i pretty butt hurt about it. i ended up telling a friend of mine about it. after describing the car and driver if informed the car was one of the few full bolt on cars in our are and put down high 400's. made me feel a lot better lol.

You most likely have a dead supercharger pump.a healthy stock e55 should keep pace and even edge out a 420-440 whp 335.we have perfect gearing for doing 40-100 mph runs and our massive torque puts us a quick car length right after the rave starts.
Funny thing is this girl I know says she knows the car and said its chipped and bolt one and its crazzy fast...I started laughing and told her to ask the kid what happened when he ran a black 55 last night!

I ran into a blue one in the Salem area and did a few pulls with him. I was stock at the time and he had tune and exhaust. I didn't pull on him by much, so they are definately quick.

my buddy has a modded 335, hasnt dynoed it yet, but he's done downpipes, JB4 and intakes. pretty much all u can do for power short of changing the turbos on that car... his best run is 13.4.... those cars are way too heavy. here's a vid of our run at the strip.

C&D ran a stock 335i down the quarter in 13.6 back in 2009? The new model is slightly quicker. Your buddy's 13.4 with "all bolt-ons possible" doesn't seem like a typical good run.

Calling a 3-series heavy is pretty hilarious. Both the E55 & CLS55 weigh over 4000 lbs, yet a 335i sedan weighs about 3550. How is that way too heavy?
