Unhappy Odd noise from engine, tech gurus check in please

Hope its nothing major... Sound comes n comes, sometimes its faint, sometimes its louder... doesn't get louder when reving, just stays about stay...

exact sound I had when my idler puller went out, maybe one of the pulleys?

Pulleys are fine... otherwise when giving gas, sound would get louder... seems to be coming from passenger side, front valve cover area...

Sounds like either an exhaust leak or a pulley rubbing something...Sorry I can't be more helpful. Generally exhaust leaks are worse when the car is cold.

Its random, actually rarely happens on cold start... Positive not exhaust leak though.

same here. I swore it was something clacking in the valve cover but sure enough it was a idler pulley bearing. I'd look there first bro

So bro looked at it, and his cls was making the same sound and it was the idler pulley... whats your guys thoughts on that?
