Audio Upgrade Options
I have had my car for about a year now and have decided that I want to upgrade the current factory audio system, COMMAND/MOST. I have currently been running a aux cable from the glove box for my iPod and the audio quality is not very good. I have looked at a couple options that I wanted to post and get everyone's feedback on. I have a couple things in my garage I want to throw in the car in my garage from my last car: 1200x1 Kicker comp amp with a remote adjuster, and a 12" JL W7 in a ported JL anniversary box which will fit in my trunk after I remove the accessory storage box in the top left corner. So all I should need to make the boom work will be misc cables and monster wiring that a vendor at my dealership is going to provide.
One headunit caught my eye when I was searching on here and it looks like nobody ever jumped on board and tried it, made by Dynavin for around $1000

Based off of the website it looks like it does everything the factory unit does plus much more. I can not find anything on here where any forum members have installed it and have any reviews. For $1000 I may go ahead and give it a try since most of the iPod integration kits that I have seen from the factory will run about $1000 installed and even aftermarket units look like they will run about $600 plus labor to install.
I have found these aftermarket ipod hook ups -

What are you guys currently using in your cars with the factory MOST system? Has anyone actually used the dynavin head unit and has any positive or negative input? Thanks!

There's quite a few threads on this and consensus has been that the Dynavin units are trash. Most people that upgrade their head units either go with Euro Comand or complately aftermarket like Kenwood, Pioneer, etc. I'm seriously thinking about getting a kenwood unit for mine. There's a few E and CLS with aftermarket head units.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage
definitely go aftermarket with either a pioneer AVIC-Z140 (new model comes out in a few months) or the new 8" alpine stereo. fitment is going to be the least of your worries, getting it wired up and everything working and sounding properly will be your struggle in that car. DO NOT go with dynavin. yes, i have experience with those unites.
