BIP is @ wannagofast 1/2 mile shootout today
We are sponsoring the GA 1/2 mile shoot out held by WANNAGOFAST today. Forum members there are: 320dreamer, kreuzfaur, fasn8n, chawkins to name a few.
We will be running our blown e39 m5, freshly built G55(project frankenstein), craigs e85-meth monster, steves 996 tt p car, barts e55 estate and johns srt6 crossfire.
Pics, slips and logs will be up as things progress. Wish us luck brotha's.

2003 porsche 996 turbo
vettes were running in the150- 170mph range. gtr went 180 and up. mustangs running 140 mph and supras in the 160's.
120 cars 900 spectators and vendors. this event was superb!! speeds were from 120mph to 190.9 that was the fastest record of the day by a top speed performance gtr. g8 broke along with a bmw and a gtr i think blew a turbo. nobody hurt nobody crashed and we ran until you didnt want to run anymore!! i made 5 passes and could have easily made 15 more if i wanted to. catered lunch for the drivers and the most beautiful place i have ever run at. first class event. vp racing fuels brought a box truck loaded with everything from high octane corn to q16 to 100, 103, 105 unleaded for anybody that wanted race fuel

Had a blast at this event, I knocked off an M6 (he ran 134.xx to my 135.53)... crossed the line 1.2 seconds ahead of him. Video makes it seem even more dramatic.
As always, a total pleasure to chill with Jason, Tony, and the entire BIP crew. Got to meet FASN8N and see that gorgeous swaggerwagen in action.
As Steve said, the event was first-class and I will certainly be in attendance next year. Worth every penny and every mile driven to get there.
The G55 was trapping mid 120's IIRC... but it smoked everything off the line. That thing is a monster

The G55 took out a vette through the 1-2 and a ZR1. The problem for he TQ monsters were off the line performance. It was basically an unprepped landing strip which cattered well to awd vehicles and centrifugal blown cars. The guys with twin screws, eatons and our positive displacement blowers had big traction issues off the line.
My girl had zero traction in 1st and 2nd, but it was epic going sideways out the whole, open headers and Vossen CV7s doing their buzinassss!
