Max's E63 Face Lift Mega Thread. Let's see your 63 updates!

What's up guys, I haven't been on the forums lately. But, I still check to see whats been going on time to time... It's cool to see how you guys have embraced the 63 face lift. I was actually surprised to see so many! (Circa early 2009 for myself). Im grateful for the friendly pm's Ive received over the years from admirers and enthusiasts. So, I need to give credit to my good friend Joe aka VegasTrashed for inspiring me with his OG Blacked out 2007 E63 and my other good buddy Hoang who was the first person with the E63 conversion Ive seen (Circa 2007)

For the newbs who don't know who VegasTrashed is, these were taken in 2007-2008. (Props to this fly guy for pics)

Sorry Hoang, Send me pics of your dope ride. You deserve a lot of credit!

Here is a run down on my mods so far. I haven't taken pics of the 63 interior updates but they came out pretty good. I'll try to post pics tomorrow.

Intercooler pump upgrade. (Must have for any 55 Kompressor)

All OEM MB 2009 E63 Front end, Rear trunk cover, Tail lights, and Rear Spoiler

19" concave S65 Rep Wheels

Hankook Ventus V12 255 35 19 front / 285 30 19 rear

6000k xenon upgrade

Euroteck Carbon E63 front lip

Carbon C63 3 Rep diffuser

Gutted stock mufflers and Resonator delete. (for sale or trade in classifieds)

Star lowered

E63 Black Gauge Cluster

E63 Alcantara trim seats

E63 shift knob with black Alcantara

E63 Command unit / Navigation

E63 Paddle Shift Steering wheel

E63 floor mats

A refresher of previous mods

Ok, so my 2009 E63 headlights have been sitting in my garage for the past 2 years. So, today I made an effort to put them in... Ive been occupied, what can I say?

2009 E63 Headlight retrofit

Still needs some slight adjustment But, I think it came out looking pretty clean. The real question is what do you guys think?

Thanks for looking

Here are some pics of the 63 steering wheel, cluster and seats installed in my 55. The seats are substantially more comfortably then the 55. The cushions are a lot thicker and the head rest is larger and has more padding. Not to mention the Alcanatara inserts. All the plugs matched up and everything works.

one car at a time
Are the slots / louvers on your front grill straight vs. angled like the OEM ? I am installing a Laser Interceptor dual and it would be easier if the front grill slots were straight and flat.

Nice looking car! Please PM info regarding the dash conversion.

They bolt right in, and plugs are the same as well.

My friend from Fletcher jones MB gave me the plugs from a 07-09 E class. I found a diagram here someone posted. We re pinned the new plugs and had to extend a few others. It wasn't hard to do.

They are angled on the 63. My front end looks like the shape of an arrow tip.

Non Dynamic to Non Dynamic. I looked at it and if your car had the option to begin with it will work with 63 seats with same option. The plugs are all the same!

Was the C63 rear diffuser a straight fit or did you have to cut things up? I noticed Euroteck only sells a 55 diffuser.

Thanks!

Great upgrades. Where did you find those wheels? Would love to get the same ones in 18" if available. I really like the concave rears.
