Well, that was kinda embarrassing

Just got heatsoaked like a **** while playing with an M5 on the freeway. Guess its time to order a pump and split the cooling circuit....

On a side note, he sounded good. Definitely some exhaust work. With the way he was pulling me before I heatsoaked, I would guess full exhaust. It was fairly loud.

Yes, time for some cooling. Nothing to feel bad about. Just imagine how much better it will pull when properly cooled.

Get your cooling and you will beat them every time

By the way the M5s sound good but that's about it when they come up against a modded E...but then again they will say in the twisties they would beat you,lol

Happens to the best of us. I was wasting M5's M3's back to back in Dynomode and raced a brand new 5.0 for the last race - Supercharger shut off at launch... SO MAD!

I raced an M5 that put down over 500whp naturally aspirated and lost. He had something like $60k in mods so technically I won...lol.

what model S4? The new ones are supercharged and the really old ones are twin turbo but the V8 ones sucked.

Haven't lost to an M5 yet but if he put 60k in mods, he can't be a winner

I'll have a vid soon with my friends FULLY modded 09 M5. We've been waiting for both cars to be completely right so that there is no excuses.

I dare you to go to the B6/B7 S4 section of Audizine and say that lmao

They think their slow gas guzzling pigs are the best thing ever.

Be thankful. I got beat by an f'in older maxima when mine soaked. He goes by all pumping fists and sheet. Best part, he just slightly edged out my car as it chugged along with blower completely shutdown.

That was it for that kinda crap. Never soaked again after the split and added HE.

This was an older turbo-charged S4...he has a nice sounding car...we have seen each other several times, so next time I will make a point of finding out what he has under the hood....my car is fast, but by no means a killer (practically stock - just a 172 & tune)....I'd like to get headers and a trunk tank....

Oh yeah, the twin turbo ones can be hella fast.

LOL... It's sad when you have to pay $10K for a supercharger kit that'll give you 400whp at best.

Opinions on Eurocharged vs. Fabtech?

Also, I've got a carbon front splitter that has made the bottom of the bumper fairly stiff and flat. I've read that most HEs push a wart in the bottom of the front bumper when you relocate the trans cooler. How bad is this going to be an issue?

How much needs to be altered? Are the fittings the same size and fitting locations the same?

The brackets are the vertical, you just have to flip them up horizontal , very easy job
