Going to run my friends Vette Friday night
2005 stock auto. Going to Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown.
I have not run my car yet, but the only mods are ECU/TCU tune and Bosch pump that is wired to stay hot.
I have run a few Vettes on the street and beat them so Im not too worried.
Bummer I wont get my drag radials for my turbo truck in time to run it as I have made a few suspension changes and went to a bigger intercooler, moved it to the front of the truck and went to a bigger discharge pipe.
Any thought on what is expected et wise for both the Vette and I? The weather should be nice at around high 60's at the time at the track.

As far as I know... if it's not a Z06/ZR1, it's not even worth racing (for you)... and when you do come across one of those, it may not be worth racing (for them) lol
I know a couple people with Z06s around my way, heavily modded. After you hear them rev the car a few times you don't even wanna try them

I'm not sure why you all are saying he'll crush him...the stock 2005's are 850lbs lighter. The ECU without pulley doesn't add that much does it? Same for same I bet he gets you out of the hole and you reel him in and pass him by 1-2 car lengths at end of 1320.
Overall I say drivers race (with a little more cushion to your E55)...again unless there is something about a non-pulley tune I don't know.
