Broke in to the 11's on a stock pulley :)

#53 is me So headed out to the track on tuesday weather was around 65F. Car ran really well with out even letting it sit to cool down. So i think i could have maybe done a few .10 sec faster couldn't get my B/F's to stick as well as i liked.

Really happy with the out come For what i have done on a stock pulley. Mods are: B/F Goodwrench Street drag radials, Shorty headers, E/C tune, K&N Filters, Chris carbon beast tubes, Resinator & Secondary cats removed and replaced with 3in straight pipes. Johnson pump & Bigger H.E i also did the colder NGK plugs. So hopefully with a S/C pulley maybe in the spring i can get this thing in the mid 11's. Just thought i would share with you all my success

Nice, seems like these cars can go plenty fast on stock boost with all the other bolt ons. You didn't post a pic of the slip though (or it isn't showing up for me).

sorry just figured it out its up there. Yeah the car felt health but didn't think i would break 11's its high 11's but none the less its 11's haha and i believe if it was a bit cooler and had some time to sit i would have done a bit better.

Not a bad 60' at all.. Figured your trap speed would be a bit higher than that with shorties and a tune.

yeah the tires helped that 60ft big time. It was also nice blowing the doors out on a slightly modded cts-v granted it could'nt hook all that well but it was still nice to be out of the hole first and finish first

So try a H pipe then, you need something to scavenge
Good time...the colder it gets out the better

Almost 118 is a great MPH on stock boost. SC pulley could add 2/3 mph.

H pipe works similar to x pipe to scavenge gases from one bank to the other, maybe you would like the sound from the H better, in either case it's better than straight pipe because gases are probably not being pulled out completely

If it aint broke, dont fix it. I would leave the car alone and add the SC pulley. Your car is running with some stink. Did you cut out the stock hpipe?

yeah i guess u make a good point S.C pulley will be on hopefully by next spring. I was thinking about 3 to 4 mph top end and better 60ft would maybe pull me into a mid 11's pass. And yes the H-Pipe is out i custom built a mid section with mandrel bend 3 inch from the secondary cats just past were the resinator use to sit. I personally haven't noticed any power lose or issues with the straight pipes. My experiance with the x pipe vs the straight pipes is straight pipes sound alot more aggresive but still no drone i personally love this set up vs what i had in the past.

Thats pretty good for the mod list you have a pulley and some long tubes and you would be doing some damage.

Love to see it! I've been saying all along you don't need a pulley for these things to be crazy fast.

I had a tune, shorties, stock tb grind and street tires and got my 11 sec pass.

You'll easily be in the low 11's with a SC pulley. I'm doing pulley, tune and colder spark plugs. Also have res/second cat delete. Stock cooling, but it's pretty cold over here at night when I usually run and the pump was replaced with the new OEM one which apparently pumps better than the first one.

Streetable terror, heh.
