Tonight we are expecting 85mph winds and a lunar tide while the storm is at it's worse. Should be interesting...lol
Many parts of the Island are flooded already and she has just begun to reach us.

Hope you guys in the North are prepared enough. Being from Coastal/Southern VA, We've gotten a few bad ones down there, and everything moves pretty slow out in the sticks as far as power coming back on. Strange to be missed by one for once. Good luck up there guys

Praying for you guys!! Let's hope she winds down fast and move the f out of the area quicker than they are calling for. I got family in the NYC Zone that are evacuated but they won't leave so I guess praying for them too.

Frederick, MD lake community. Hope the bridge crossing the lake holds.
Flooding shouldn't be a problem for me, as I'm in high ground, but trees and loss of power are a real concern with 70mph winds coming with the 5-10" of rain.

Winds are def picking up here near Dulles airport compared to this morning. Went in at 7am to work and office shut down at noon. After the dericho during the summer,i picked up a generator 7k/9/watts. I had everything but a generator and it sucked in 90degree heat.
I have plenty of drinking water, canned/dried foods, batteries, etc. Now i'm prepared as i can be with 15 gallons of gas in portable gas containers, plus have the cars full of gas as well. Just sit and wait til Sandy moves further up north!
