Is there a good spot to pull 12v power in glove box?
I want to wire in a USB connector for power there. Any suggestions on where to pull power in this area?

If constant would I be ok if I kept a bluetooth dongle on or would it drain battery?

it is very easy to run a wire from the cigarette lighter to the glove compartment if you are unsuccessful in finding a 12v source.

How about from the little light that's in the glove box? If not, i agree, the cigarette lighter isn't far away. Good luck.

Big +1, Very simple to run the wire over from the lighter. I have my hard wired Valentine tapped into that line. 10 minute job at most.

What kinda taps do you recommend? Id like to minimize cutting any OEM wires if possible.

I used the Red wire taps from Radio Shack. They work well and you do not have to cut any wires. The red indicates the guage you are tapping into.

I wired from the back of the lighter into the coin tray next to the glovebox, I have a 3G Mifi there which allows 5 devices to connect. The supply is switched off when the car is removed so it will run off its internal battery but nromally just goes into standby. I can also use the USB connector to power other devices if needed.
