Because I was sticking up for this vendor.. I never had any issues with them and have just shared my experience with them.. For some reason or another all these other members have had an issue with them.. For instance Mossejaw, was upset with this vendor because his car didnt make any more hp after he installed their injectors.. As most of us know it is more of a safety mod than it is for gaining more power..

You all are ridiculous, that is all. lol

P.S. I have no products from Fabtech or TTM nor do I plan to. I do find it funny to trash on the Fabtech scoops because the inside front wasn't smooth, but then defend the TTM scoops that don't fit properly out of the box and are made from cheap *** steel and then sold at a premium. So shouldn't both be considered junk then? One not fitting properly and made from cheap material but priced high, then the other not having the finish that was promised (if this is the case, I don't know).

If you are gonna bad mouth one, you need to bad mouth the other.

one car at a time
OK, so let's make sure we are all on the same page :
(1) TTM scoops don't fit properly and should be redesigned
(2) Fabtech's carbon scoops, copies of the TTM scoops, are made poorly and not as advertised
(3) Fabtech's products tend to be cheap knock-offs of other's designs / products

Who determined these standards?
Are you saying the recent Rolling Stone article has no merit
Because its getting a lot of publicity, and i've not heard anything to the contrary. Ive honestly looked but couldnt find anything.
A lot of voters use this article as gospel and will influence their vote.
I love to read something on the contrary. PM me if you will

For one you little fat piggy.
You spelt my name wrong.

Two....
You don't know the back story regarding his stolen fuel rail and his pos injectors that didnt fit. And you dont know how this guy failed to provide customer service to help install it.

Three:
You also don't know how he changed the terms of his advertisement after speaking to me on the phone and then he changed his post to reflect the price increase.

Four:
You also don't know that Hulk bought his fuel rail before me at the introductory advertised price weeks before, yet i got mine (at full retail) two weeks before his.

Five:
After installing my fuel rail, steve from craptech wouldnt honor the agreed upon core charge that was discussed. I hence sold mine to someone else.

So after all this you fat little pig, you still want to swing from his nuts?
I hope someone beats the living hell out of you, because if you annoy at least half the people you do on this forum up in New England you would require some sort of state protection. Googling your username you seems you ve had your share of harassment. No wonder you live in that one horse town in NH.

In regards to fittiment of the ttm product
I think its safe to say that every front end of our cars is going to be different, esp if we taken our bumpers off to get painted or installed heat exhangers.

For instance:
RBJs fit perfectly
Mine fit kind of weird, Hulk was there when i installed mine.
Toadsters fit fine
APiggy55 looks like its fits fine, but hes probably spending another $1400 to paint his bumper

If your bumper or hood is out of alignment, then the fittiment of these might come into play. I dont think they need to be redesigned, if they do, prob trim off a little bit of the top part to allow more space between the grille and the hood.

I still love mine.

TTM definitely needs to trim up the top of their scoops. And do away with the ridiculous rubber hoses for the mounting. That and the several little 'bubbles or junk' in the corners and some light powder coating spots , they are decent.

I couldn't agree more. I like Bruce and TTM just fine, but the scoops didn't fit well what so ever.

My TTM scoops fitted fine also and did not take long to install.
But I agree with Moosejaw, every E55's alignment/fitment will never be exactly the same.

I think fitment has a lot to do what the car has gone through in its lifetime. My 05 had the original bumper with original paint with no signs of prior removal or body work and my TTM scoops that i got in the last GP fit like a glove and were on in 15 minutes. I am sorry to see the garbage that fabtech sent the OP and am glad I never spent any money with them if that is the quality they put out.

A Merc
TTM (Bruce) has surpassed being a vendor, he has given great knowledge to this forum and individuals as well, if a person calls for advice whether you buy anything or not, he will walk you through what to do and what not to do. He has helped many break into the 10s even though most forget to mention him he stands out as a vendor and will not lower his integrity to make a few dollars

Well well
What do we have here....some little piggy has been stalking my linkedin.
Look who is currently unemployed? Probably bc he paid $1600 to paint his bumper. Or he cant spell.
Either way doesnt he strike you as a douchebag?

Why on earth are you interested in my profile?
