First Benz, 2005 E55
My first Benz, I love this car.
I've been a lurker on this forum for a while and finally found my beast. Heli217 was the previous owner and I could not have found a better person to deal with. A stand up guy!
This forum is excellent and I appreciate the wealth of knowledge on these incredible cars!

Nice ride, I think that was a members car. I remember it for sale. What miles and what did you pay?
**EDIT** Just saw you purchased it from Heli. That is a nice one. He seemed pretty ****.

Thanks for the comments guys!
Between Guido building her and Heli hooking her up, I think it's gonna be a sweet ride.
emoving, I got her with 31k miles and I paid more than I wanted to, but still feel like I got a great deal from an excellent guy. I looked at quite a few 55s, and this one blew the others out of the water.
Viren, I like the dip on your car. In fact, I'm about to dip my 85' CRX white. As for my 55, only wax for right now

Thanks again for the comments! I have a friend with a nice camera so i'll get some quality shots up soon.
Thanks man. A pewter 55 and a red LS1 Camaro is also what sits in my garage! Great minds DO think alike.
Everything I own is for sale brother!

It looks absolutely mint and with 31k miles...you must have paid $32k plus? Another guy asked and you didn't say but I am curious because I am looking for one hard...I posted a thread to find one here in NY that isn't a POS. Anyway, would love to know and the car looks incredible!!! Congrats!

The problem with buying cars like these is that you really have to sit around a while and wait for the right one to pop up. I looked for a lonnnnng time and never even came close to what I was looking for until I found this one. This forum is where I found my car so you are in the right place for sure.
Best of luck on the Hunt!

I am trying to wait as long as possible but the winter is here and I am getting bored fast...haven't had a cool or fast car in 4-5 years but I deal in old collectibles so I have many old cool and sometimes pretty fast cars but not new...real fast stuff, if you know what I mean. So, I am getting itchy! lol Still no price?

Congrats - I remember seeing the car advertised in the MB Classified section. Was it located in upstate NY?
Also, you get what you pay for, so if you paid a little more who cares, you got a nice (mint) car.
