How to remove rear brake rotor
How the heck do you get it off if it is stuck to the hub? I have been letting WD40 set on it for a while but there is no where to hit the back side of the rotor like on the fronts...???

No offense taken! But Im curious as to know how that would affect taking off the rear rotor? The parking brake is NOT engaged so isn't that all that is necessary?

A couple of good smacks with a mallet to the wheel flange will brake it free. The hub is very durable, you won't hurt it. Do yourself a favor and lube the hub surface that meets the rotor surface with antisieze or somthing. You can access the star teeth for the parking brake adjustment through a lug hole if its getting hung up on the shoes

"A couple of good smacks with a mallet to the wheel flange " Well that did it. Let me tell you, I have never seen rotors stuck to hubs that hard in my life!

It's crazy how well they stick with just a little corrosion. I've seen rotors crack before they brake loose. Glad they came loose.

Get a torch on the face of the rotor and get them a bit toasty... block of wood on edge of vented gap and mallet rotate 45deg, mallet rotate 45deg etc ... if you get it wedged at an angle you need to reseat and start again.
If you are replacing these forget the wood and use steel punch.
DO NOT try and pry off by putting any presure on backing plate. The plate will give and then your handbrake shoes will not lie properly. Do try and release all tension on handbrake shoes u can via the lug holes...
My backing plates had corroded a fair bit and I replaced them (after buckling them too of course ), but half shafts have to come out to do this !
