For all of the drag racers(even though its not an E55). With a great deal of time and patience from Bruce of TTM as my burnout coach, I was able to run 4 passes in the 10's today. A New personal best of 10.79 @127.32 MPH with a 1.575 60 FT. I will post slips tomorrow when I have a chance. This was the Atco rental and the weather was great. The thing to realize is the car only has an ECU/TCU and supplemental HE. I ran 103 octane in my regular tune with stock air boxes(filters removed) and stock intercoolers. I think there is some footage of some runs but sadly not my personal best. Also a big thanks to Jerry from Eurocharged. The car has always run strong with my tune and today I was able to prove how strong.
Congrats!!!!!!! I told you that day at MIR your at had 10's wrote all over it with good weather. Best of all you didn't just break into the 10's you put it down deep in the 10's. It's crazy that's just on a ECU/TCU tune.
Congrats!!! Knew it was just a matter of time. Welcome to the 10 second club crazy what tuning can do on a 65. That's flying for such a heavy car! I wish i got a clean pass out of mine before it let go. If i remember correctly our dyno numbers were close and your car must weigh about 800+lbs more lol.

Thanks, I doubt I could have launched the car much harder it was practically pushing through the brakes. All in all I had a 1.57, 1.58, 1.59, 1.60, and a 1.61. Look at drag times you'll see what I mean. My second run the tranny went into limp and that was 1.58 I think also I don't have the slip but Bruce may remember.

Maybe who knows I like the simplicity but that may not last. For now its just changing tires and pulling filters.

Thank you, I was super impressed this was full weight (4650 lbs. with me).
Would have been crazy to see what it would have pulled on a dyno yesterday out there.

I really believe those air boxes I made for you will work with some adaption time with your ECU!! I guess we will see!
Greatly appreciate your help. Sorry I didn't try the boxes for a few more passes, but I was super impressed with what I had already accomplished, plus the ride back.

Thank You, and you are right for the most part, but simple mods impress me, and in 20 minutes the car was packed and I was on the road.

Truly impressive to only attend a couple of track events and be able to lay down a number like that. My hats off to you.
Thank You very much and you are accurate, this was only my 3rd track day 2nd with drag radials. 1st with my own. LOL...I've had the car for close to 4 yrs so I know how it behaves, but the track is a whole different thing.
